I retired from law enforcement with the Federal government after 28 years, 10 duty stations, and 11 homes. My family and I have traveled and lived in many states of this great country, but decided to settle in beautiful, warm, sunny Florida. Specifically, the Tampa area because it offers everything we were looking for. It has a great downtown with job opportunities, shopping and entertainment; beautiful suburbs with homes for all tastes; an outstanding education system with several colleges/universities; and of course….GORGEOUS beaches on the Gulf of Mexico.
